The Eccentric Bunch is a school project for an Ugly Foods grocery store aimed at combatting food waste by giving ugly foods the spotlight they deserve.
This project was created in response to the United Nations Sustainable Developmental Goals (UNSDG) act for responsible consumption and production. This project tackles the following: By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse, promote public procurement practices that are sustainable, in accordance with national policies and priorities
